He’s done it again, Elijah Arthur Allain; the artiste which hails from Soufriere has won the title of St. Lucia Groovy Soca King for the fourth (4th) year in a row! That’s right, four. This comes after Arthur stated last year that he might not compete in the 2017 Soca Monarch competition:

We’re looking to come out really hard, this might be my last year competing, so I want to go out on a high level by, hopefully, winning the title and being the first person to win it three consecutive times. So that’s one of the objectives for this year.

Three times were not enough, this year Arthur was determined to prove that he’s truly the Groovy Soca king of St. Lucia, and what better way to have proved it than releasing and winning with a hit song titled “Over n Over”!

Arthur won Groovy Soca Monarch 2016 with his hit “Dat Beat”

Arthur won Groovy Soca Monarch 2015 with his hit “Who I Am”

Arthur also won Groovy Soca Monarch 2014 with his hit song “Numb”

What a feat! Not sure how he did it? Have a look at his previous performances below:
